Loc American Bulldog Kennels mission is to breed Standard American Bulldogs that are an overall example of excellence in the breed. Structurally sound, calm, confident temperment, and the necessary drive to excel in any line of work. Whether that be as a family pet, a working dog, or a show bulldog.
I believe that I have a great set of foundation AB's in Ali & Layla an eventually looking to expand in the near future. As a breeder I have great respect for some of the pioneers that made American Bulldogs what they are today, with names like Alan Scott, Rayburn Stover, Bill Hines, and Johnson D. Johnson.
Now for my views, this is not to dissrespect to those who prefer the hybrid look, but to me when a breeder takes a Bully new school Johnson to a Scott standard making a hybrid, there are too many variables in what the puppies will look like. This is a risk that I dont want to take. My personal preference that I look to preserve is the Alan Scott type. They are nice tight build, structually sound and are willing and able to handle any task set forth with the edurance, stamina and strength needed.
On a personal note I would like to thank the Lombard Family owners of Libberty Kennels. They are hands down some of the best breeders out their and I appreciate deeply their continued friendship as well as the standard of excellence they've set.
